Yolanda Osuna

Born in Cordova on February 26, 1981, she began her career in schools and trained at the Luis del Rio Professional Conservatory of Dance. She obtained the Bachelor of Dance Pedagogy at the Superior Dance Conservatory of Malaga. She also has trained with many Flamenco artists such as El Mimbre, Immaculada Aguilar, Matilde Coral, Milagros Menjibar, Javier La Torre, Manuela Carrasco, Rocio Molina, Antonio Canales, Pastora Galvan … She has in her possession the prize of the Young Flamenco of the Excma . Diputación de Cordova and two second prizes at the International Festival de las Minas in “Festival of La Unión” 2007 and 2014. Her performance at the Teatro Real in Madrid in 2016, with the show of the Minas Puerto Flamenco marked the beginning of her experiments with traditional flamenco and other artistic disciplines. Making incursions into contemporary dance, interactive technology and performances, expanding the range of flamenco with multidisciplinary resources to express her poetry. She has a mention in the New York Times by critic Brian Seibert after seeing her at the Paco Peña show in New York, “Dressed in a gown, dancing some “alegrías”, she turned with her manila shawl creating a turbulent vortex. CORDOBAN FLAMENCO, with her own show “VIVENCIAS FLAMENCAS”, premiered at the Great Theater of Cordova 2010 Membrilla Festival and at the Casa Artelor Cultural Center in Bucharest (Belgrade) 2013. Show “EL CAFÉ CON SILVERIO” Teatro Oristano, Sardinia (Italy) November 2014. Show “Tres Puntales” Theaters of Croatia, Salvador de Bahía June and October 2015 and Sardinia (Italy) 2016. She currently works in her own School combining it with his periodic performances at the Flamenco Cultural Center “Casa de la Memoria ” in Seville, of which she has been a part since 2015.
