Carlos Llave

Carlos Llave, a native of Algeciras, begins to play the guitar in a self-taught way until he enters the school of young creators in Algeciras with Santi Vargas and Carmen Rodriguez (duo, “La Plata”). Later on, he receives classes from Salvador Andrades, a professional guitarist who initially trained him in the old Algeciren style and in the shadow of Paco de Lucía. He studied jazz with the pianist Juan Galiardo, he earns a fellowship at the Cristina Heeren Foundation in Seville and begins working at tablaos and makes international tours accompanying singers and dancers. He has recorded several albums and played live with artists such as Jorge Pardo, Carles Benavent, Tino di Geraldo, Chiquetete, María del Monte, etc … He has participated in the Seville Flamenco Biennial, 25th anniversary of Camarón, Paco de Lucía International Guitar Festival, etc … Whether with the flamenco guitar, bass, electric guitar or Cuban Tres …

Currently recording his project “Por Paco” in which he reinterprets songs by Paco de Lucía and the album “Familia Camarón” with Universal Records in which he accompanies the sons of the genius and his musicians.

He forms part of the regular artists of Casa de la Memoria since 2014.
