Ana Real

She began her singing career in 1985 with her father Juan Real, a guitarist. Since her inception, she opted for classical singing, with which she continues to identify herself today, “La Niña de los Peines” is like her singing mirror. She has worked with great flamenco figures such as Manolo Sanlúcar, Carmen Linares, Mayte Martín, Israel Galván, Belén Maya and countless first line figures. She was the winner of the “Madroño Flamenco” prize for best novel singer of the year in the 2003 edition and finalist of the Giraldillo del cante at the 2000 Biennial. Since 2001, she has been a component of the company “La Cuadra” under the direction of playwright Salvador Tavora. She is also part of the cast of artists that make up “La Casa de la Memoria” since the beginning of the Cultural Center. Always defending the most classic and orthodox concept of flamenco, a concept on which the history and trajectory of her professional career is based, she offers the purest and richest flamenco throughout its different artistic aspects.
